Noctora is the Goddess of Death and one of the most feared figures in the Otherworld.
She came into existence unintentionally alongside Lumagaia, the God of Life. As life entered the world, so did death, and Noctora became the force associated with it.
Over time, Noctora became hostile toward the living world and the other gods. She brought plague, caused widespread destruction, and eventually became the source of one of the earliest conflicts in Otherworld history.
The other gods ultimately defeated her and imprisoned her on the Isle of Nargoth, where she remains today.
Noctora is unable to freely leave the island, but her influence can still reach beyond it. Dark magic occasionally escapes, carried on the Winds of Nargoth, and throughout history she has found ways to interfere with events elsewhere in the Otherworld.
She is also the mother of Vex, the Demigod of Death, whose actions would later lead to the Old War.
Today, Noctora is both an ancient figure of history and a very real danger. She may be confined to Nargoth, but she is still alive, waiting for her revenge.
