Between lectures, practical studies, and examinations, students have countless opportunities to explore their interests, form lasting friendships, and become part of a community shaped by more than a century of magical tradition.
Whether you’re joining a student organization, spending an afternoon in the courtyard, or investigating one of the university’s many peculiar traditions, there’s always something happening at Bogmire.
Student Organizations & Clubs
At Bogmire, students are encouraged to pursue their interests beyond their academic studies. Student-run clubs and organizations bring together individuals with shared passions, providing opportunities to develop new skills, exchange knowledge, and contribute to university life.
From academic societies and recreational activities to groups dedicated to specialized branches of magic, there’s a place for nearly every interest.
Students are also encouraged to establish new organizations, subject to university approval.
Traditions & University Culture
For more than 150 years, generations of students have contributed to Bogmire’s unique identity.
University traditions, annual celebrations, and longstanding customs remain an important part of campus life. Some are formally recognized by the administration, while others have been passed down among students for decades.
New students are encouraged to take part in these traditions, though they may wish to exercise discretion when following advice from upperclassmen.
Exploring the Campus
Bogmire’s historic grounds offer plenty of places to study, socialize, and explore.
The university courtyard serves as a central gathering place, featuring its distinctive fountain and the statue of Queen Isbel. Throughout the campus, students will find quiet corners for reading, common areas for conversation, and spaces dedicated to both academic and extracurricular pursuits.
Students are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the grounds, observe posted notices, and respect areas designated for restricted access.
Student Life & Community
The relationships formed at Bogmire are often just as valuable as the knowledge gained in its classrooms.
Students from different backgrounds, disciplines, and levels of magical experience come together to share ideas and learn from one another. Collaborative study, friendly competition, and informal gatherings are all part of the university experience.
Faculty and staff also play an active role in the campus community, offering guidance and support throughout students’ academic journeys.
The Bogmire Muse
Staying informed is an important part of university life.
The Bogmire Muse, the university’s student publication, covers campus developments, student interests, unusual occurrences, and matters of general concern to the Bogmire community.
Whether you’re looking for the latest university news, student commentary, or something to occupy a few minutes between classes, the Muse is a familiar fixture of campus life.
Make Bogmire Your Own

However you choose to spend your time here, Bogmire offers opportunities to discover new interests, challenge yourself, and leave your own mark on the university.
