Students who major in Spells follow spellwork from its simplest controlled forms through advanced manipulation of Ether and the Elements.
The department occupies several adjoining halls on the older side of campus. Most classrooms are designed for practical casting, with reinforced furnishings and enough open floor space to accommodate demonstrations that become larger than intended.
Copies of The Practical Pocket Book of Spells are available in most classrooms, but students are encourages to purchase their own.
